Labour History

It is often said that history is written by the victors. Little wonder that the history of the oppressed is often lost in the mists of time.

Our history is important. This is why the National Workers Union is starting to document and record some important events where we are able to get information that will provide a more lasting testament to the struggle of the poor and oppressed.

We recognise the contributions of leading fighters for labour and we also re-publish significant historical documents that deal with the evolution and struggle of the labour movement over the years.

This information is particularly useful for researchers, labour historians, students and activists. If you don't know where you come from ... you won't know where you going!
