The Labour Advisory Bureau (LAB) will hold a two day workshop dealing with Industrial Court practice on September 13th and 14th 2013. The seminar is aimed at trade unionists who practice in the Industrial Court.

The workshop will deal with the context within which the present practice and procedures of industrial relations developed and will go into detail in examining the practices and procedures that have to be observed, particularly as it applies to the Industrial Court.
Among issues that will be examined are those relating to reporting a trade dispute; pre-trial Hearing/Mention and Report/Case Management; issues surrounding the development and presentation of evidence and arguments; witness statements; examination in chief,/cross examination/re-examination; remedy and summing up of case presentation.
